selections of English literature from England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, we
will also include multicultural texts like your summer reading The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind as well the readings from
this unit on current events in Syria, the Pope’s recent reaction to the Syrian
refugee crisis, and selections of literature by Syrians and by poets of other
nationalities.
